Dan Costello to host this Saturday's show

Dan, always the guy to chip in and help out, decided he wanted to mix, edit, and host this Saturday's show. The impetus was his new-found like for Boise artist Josh Olswanger. So, this Saturday's show (Oct 11) will be hosted by Dan Costello and will feature Josh Olswanger and Kelly Martin and Becca Gourley.

Tune in to your local NPR music station to catch it.

90.3 FM at 2 PM in the Boise area!

TIFT MERRITT SHOW HAS MOVED!

Stop the presses! Tift Merritt will now be playing at the Grizzly Rose. You can find this great venue on 1124 Front Street--basically on the corner of Front Street and 12th. Things might get a little rowdy after the show--as the place has a mechanical bull.

You can get your tickets here! (They are $8.)

Good summer for shows

There have been some amazing shows around Idaho this summer. Some of the highlights came to the area via the hard word of Bob Overand at Idaho Concerts. Thanks to Bob, I have been able to hang out with some of my idols including the band Wilco!

A few pics from the summer!

Change of Schedule

Charlie Sutton won't be able to make the show on Sunday, August 10th. In his place will be the duo of Travis and Ali Ward. They are married with childred and two of the coolest people you could ever hope to meet. You can see a nice picture of them from last year way down the page.

Merchandise for the season

Did I mention we have some sweet hats and t-shirts for sale this year? Either are 10 bucks. You should probably buy 30 of each.

Tift Merritt is coming to Boise

Okay, well Tift originally wanted to come to Stanley--but September 27th is pretty late for a gig up there--so now she's coming to Boise to play at the Bouquet Grizzly Rose. Opening will be the imitable Darren Smith--who is one of my favorite songwriters.

This show will be awesome.

You can get your tickets at The Record Exchange or online. They are only $8!

Paste Magazine said "Merritt is a force to be reckoned with as a vocalist and songwriter in any genre she approaches."

Andrew Ryan

Mr. Ryan (cool name btw) is playing Music from Stanley on June 22nd. He'll be the first artist to play the series this year. And get this--he's good.

Fresh off a performance on Prairie Home Companion he's playing Stanley to rock your socks off.

He's got a new record out. Check it out. It looks like this ^

We're having a party and you are invited

On June 12th at 6 pm we'll be having a little shindig at The Linen Building on 14th and Grove in Boise, Idaho.  They'll be some great artists playing including Bernie Reilly--an amazing songwriter who also knows how to play and sing most of the songs on Flight of the Conchords.
Bernie's got it going on.

We'll have raffle prizes, silent auction stuff and maybe even a pinata!

Jeremiah James is the new live show host of MFS!

This guy is the new live show host of Music from Stanley. It makes sense as the past host spent more time on the road that in Stanley--whereas Jeremiah lives in Stanley. I mean look at this guy--he is Stanley!

Jeremiah is throwing a CD release party on June 19th at 7 pm at the one and only Record Exchange.

This year's schedule!

Okay, at the 11th hour, things are coming together!

June 29- Darren Smith/ Sean Hatton w/ Matt Hopper
